Martin Lipson

Martin trained as an architect and worked mostly in local authorities. He led a national team supporting Councils building new schools in England and Wales, having earlier been a community development worker in deprived areas of London. Martin has served on management committees of numerous community groups, and after moving to Steeple Aston in 1999, helped create the Village History Centre. A role as parish councillor led to involvement with the Mid-Cherwell Neighbourhood Plan, whose Forum of 11 parishes he now chairs.
